Description:

Scopolamine hydrobromide is the hydrobromide salt of the anticholinergic natural product Scopolamine, isolated from plants of the Solanaceae family. Scopolamine exhibits anticholinergic properties through competitive inhibition of acetylcholine muscarinic receptors with selectivity for mAChR M1. Suppression of the cholinergic response results in decreased activity of the parasympathetic nervous system, widely exploited in studies concerning parasympathetic functioning.

Function:

1. Scopolamine butylbromide/Hyoscine Nbutyl bromide is used for peripheral anticholinergic drugs which can smooth muscle spasm , ease the gastrointestinal tract , bile duct and urinary tract and inhibit peristalsis.
2. Scopolamine butylbromide/Hyoscine Nbutyl bromide applies to the stomach, duodenum, colon fibe endoscopic examination as the operative preparation.
3. Scopolamine butylbromide/Hyoscine Nbutyl bromide can be used for the treatment of gastrointestal spasm, biliary Colic, renal colic or gastrointestinal peristalsis, such as hyperthyroidism.

Application:
